KOMEN NIGHT RECEIVES BIG CONTRIBUTIONS FROM LOCAL COMPANIES

HOUSTON, Texas – The Susan G. Komen Foundation Houston Affiliate received more funds this week, in conjunction with the Houston Aeros’ Breast Cancer Awareness Night set for Saturday, Oct. 28.

Marathon Oil and Schlumberger were sponsors for last month’s “Race for the Cure”, and have decided to join the Komen Foundation Houston Affiliate at the October 28 Aeros' game. The two Houston companies have bought tickets for many of their Komen walkers and volunteers. The Komen Houston affiliate will receive $1800 additional from Marathon Oil, and $600 from Schlumberger. Marathon Oil was the presenting sponsor of the Houston Race for the Cure.

A representative from each company will be on hand at the October 28 game to present a check to the Komen Houston Affiliate for funds raised during the race.

In addition to the ticket packages, pucks are available for $6 each. Pucks are going fast, there are only 400 left to buy!
