HOUSTON AEROS AND MINNESOTA SWARM RAISE $4,568 FOR JOSH HARDING’S “FUND THE FIGHT”
HOUSTON, Texas, and SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.– The American Hockey League’s Houston Aeros and National Lacrosse League’s Minnesota Swarm announced today that $4,568 was raised through the team’s joint venture on March 23 to help current Minnesota Wild goaltender and former Aero Josh Harding “Fund the Fight” against breast cancer.
A portion of each ticket purchased on March 23 to the Swarm game against the Toronto Rock and the Houston Aeros contest against the Rochester Americans was donated to help fight the disease. This is a cause dear to Harding’s heart, as his sister, Stephanie, has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The Aeros raised the most money through ticket sales and therefore donated an additional $500 to “Fund the Fight”.
More information on Harding’s quest to “Fund The Fight” can be found at
www.fundthefight.com where he is also holding eBay auctions for various NHL items.
