HOUSTON AEROS ANNOUNCE EQUIPMENT STAFF
HOUSTON, Texas – The American Hockey League’s Houston Aeros have added to their hockey operations by naming Mark Kincher as head equipment manager and Ryan Martin as assistant equipment manager, the team announced Tuesday.
Kincher, a native of West Jordan, Utah, will join the Aeros after serving last season as the head equipment manager for the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. Kincher also headed the UHL’s Motor City Mechanics equipment department in the 2005-06 season and spent four years as the AHL’s Utah Grizzlies’ assistant equipment manager.
Martin assisted the Dayton Bombers’ equipment manager during the 2006-07 ECHL season. Prior to Dayton, the Middletown, Ohio, native spent time interning with the AHL’s Cincinnati Mighty Ducks during three years spanning the 2002-05 seasons.
Kincher and Martin will begin in September in preparation for the season. The pair will work closely with the team to ensure they play and look great on the ice throughout the 2007-08 season.
