AEROS RELEASE SIX FROM TRAINING CAMP

HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Aeros today announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club has released six players to from their training camp roster. Goaltender Miroslav Kopriva and forwards Brandon Benedict, Riley Emmerson and Jordie Preston have all been sent to the Texas Wildcatters, the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) affiliate of the Houston Aeros. Defensemen Alex Dunn and Aaron Wilson have also been released.

The Aeros will play an intrasquad game at the Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center on Tuesday, October 2 starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available and fans are encouraged to attend.

The regular season begins this Saturday, October 6 at the Toyota Center against the Chicago Wolves.
