AEROS SIGN D JOHN ADAMS TO PTO
HOUSTON, Texas – Houston Aeros’ General Manager Tom Lynn announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) team has signed defenseman
John Adams to a professional try-out agreement.
Adams, 25 (12/21/82), is in his third pro season and this is the second time he has joined the Aeros roster this season. He played one game for Houston on December 1, 2007 in a 4-3 overtime win over the Grand Rapids Griffins. In February, the Wayzata, Minnesota native played in one game for the Albany River Rats, he did not record a point in either game.
He has played most of the season with the ECHL’s Texas Wildcatters where he has collected 24 points (8-16=24) in 62 games. Adams has played a total of 31 AHL games and recorded one goal and three assists to go along with 26 penalty minutes.
Adams and the Aeros will take on the Quad City Flames tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Toyota Center.
