RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE NIGHT IS FRIDAY

Aeros also have hospital visits upcoming

Houston, TX – This Friday is Ronald McDonald House Night at Toyota Center, when the Houston Aeros take on the Worcester IceCats at 7 p.m. Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Hamburgler and Birdie will all be there, as will the Aaron’s NASCAR vehicle. A portion of tickets sold for Friday’s game will go back to the Ronald McDonald House, with a check for at least $10,000 being presented to officials from the House prior to the game. Ronald McDonald will be dropping the puck prior to the game as well.

Ronald McDonald Night is one of many upcoming promotions involving “The Coolest Guys Downtown.” Today, 10 Aeros will visit Texas Children’s Hospital from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Next Monday, the Aeros will be at Memorial Hermann from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Media interested in covering hospital visits should call Houston Aeros Charities Program Director Janna Brown at 713.361.7922.

The Aeros play at home twice this week, beginning with Thursday’s 7 p.m. Happy Hour Game against the Hartford Wolf Pack (and former Aeros Lawrence Nycholat and Cory Larose). Just $25 will get fans a center-ice seat and $10 in Toyota Bucks, good for food and beverages at the arena. That’s a $38 value! You can order via www.aeros.com up until noon on Thursday.

The Aeros are encouraging fans to get their tickets early for the Friday, Jan. 16 game against San Antonio, which will feature future Hall of Fame pitcher Roger Clemens dropping the puck. It’s also “Boy Scout Night” and “Faith Night”, and the first 5,000 fans will receive Thundersticks.

Saturday, Jan. 24 is Johan Holmqvist Bobblehead Night. The first 3,000 fans through the Toyota Center doors at the Aeros’ game against Syracuse will receive a bobblehead of last season’s Calder Cup Playoff Most Valuable Player.

Houston wraps up its January slate of games on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. versus the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
