Dear Aeros fans,

On behalf of the Houston Aeros organization, I would like to thank you for an incredible 15th Anniversary Season.  You are truly the best fans in the American Hockey League and we appreciate your support.

Over the past 15 seasons, we have competed in the playoffs 13 times and have brought home two championships. And although we fell short of adding a third this season, we hope you enjoyed the playoff run as much as we did.

This past season had many highlights and we thank you for enjoying the following with us:
- A 4-0 start to the season and taking the first 5 home games at Toyota Center.
- Cal Clutterbuck, Krys Kolanos, Benoit Pouliot, Peter Olvecky and John Scott all worked their way into the Minnesota Wild lineup.
- Defeated defending Calder Cup Champion and Aeros arch-rival Chicago Wolves 5 out of 6 games and won all 3 at Toyota Center.
- Corey Locke and Barry Brust represented the Aeros in the AHL All-Star Classic and both players set records. Locke set an All-Star game record with 4 goals and Brust recorded the 1st point for a goalie in the game's history.
- A season-high 6-game win streak in February.
- Brandon Rogers won the 2009 Yanick Dupree Memorial Award as the AHL's Man of the Year with the help of Houston Aeros Charities community appearances and, you, the fans.
- 8th best home record in the AHL during the 2008-09 season winning 23 games at Toyota Center.
- Defeated the Peoria Rivermen in the West Division Semifinals in 7 games and advanced to the division finals for the first time since 2006.
- Became just the 3rd team in AHL history to win two game sevens on the road by beating the Milwaukee Admirals in Game 7 of the West Division Finals.

We have experienced many triumphs as an organization and we have always appreciated the support of the fans in Houston.  We are extremely grateful and look forward to seeing you in October as we strive for the 2009-2010 Calder Cup!

Go Aeros!
