The Aeros play their third of four straight games with the Rockford IceHogs tonight, 7:05 p.m. at the Rockford Metro Centre. Houston is 2-0-2-0 against Rockford this season including a 2-1 overtime loss to the Hogs Sunday. The two clubs will faceoff three more times this season including a Friday 7:05 p.m. match-up at the Rockford Metro Centre before the Aeros head home to face the Toronto Marlies heading into the All-Star Break. AEROS NOTES

State Farm Lone Star Faceoff - The Houston Aeros, in conjunction with the San Antonio Rampage and Texas Stars, announced State Farm Insurance as the title sponsor of the Lone Star Faceoff rivaly series yesterday; a competition between the three Texas-based AHL clubs.

TV Time - The Aeros will be featured in five television games on FS Houston and FS Plus beginning with a Feb. 27 game vs. TEX at Toyota Center. Other TV games include @ SA 3/3, vs. SA 3/5, @ TEX 4/3, @ SA 4/8.

Working Overtime - The Aeros played in their 13th overtime game Sunday vs. Rockford, tying them with Bridgeport for the most in the AHL. Of the 13 games, 10 have been decided in the overtime session (4-6), more than any other club.

Streaking - The Aeros enter tonight's game on a season-high six-game point streak (2-0-4-0).

Squadron Leaders - RW Jon DiSalvatore leads the Aeros with 15 goals scored this season. RW J-M Daoust recorded a goal and an assist in his last two games to give him a team high in points (32) and helpers (19). LW Matt Kassian continues to lead Houston with 82 PIM.

Milestone - RW Danny Irmen is one point shy of his 100th career AHL point.

Home and Away - The Aeros average 2.65 goals/gm at home this season opposed to 2.61 goals/gm on the road. The team is also giving up 2.61 goals/gm at home and 2.44 goals/gm on the road.

Roadies - Tonight is the third of nine road games in the month of January for the Aeros. Houston has posted an 8-6-3-1 road record this season giving them 20 points away from Toyota Center.
