The Houston Aeros host the Abbotsford Heat tonight, 7:05 p.m. at Toyota Center. The Aeros defeated Abbotsford in back-to-back games at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre, 7-1 Jan. 22 and 5-4 Jan 23. in OT. The Aeros are coming off a season-high five-game road trip defeating Peoria 5-4 in a shootout Saturday in their last outing. Abbotsford is on a four-game losing streak falling to Texas in back-to-back games at the Cedar Park Center, 6-1 Friday and 4-2 Saturday. Tonight is the final game between the two teams this season. AEROS NOTES

Aeros vs. North - The Aeros are playing their 17th game against a North Division team this season. Houston is 10-5-1-0 against the North including an 8-1-1-0 mark against teams based in Canada.

Tight Division - The Aeros enter tonight's game six points out of the fourth and final playoff spot in the West Division occupied by Chicago. Only 10 points separate the top five teams in the division.

Squadron Leaders - RW Jon DiSalvatore scored twice Saturay at Peoria to bring his goal total to a team-leading 18. D Maxim Noreau also scored and added two helpers as he leads the club with 40 points and 26 assists. LW Matt Kassian continues to lead the Aeros with 101 PIM.

Homeward Bound - The Aeros finished a season-high five-game road trip Saturday with a 5-4 shootout win over Peoria. Houston finished the trip 3-2-0-0 and hold a 11-10-3-1 record in games away from Toyota Center this season.

Milestones - LW Colton Gillies played his 100th pro game at Peoria Saturday (55 AHL, 45 NHL). DiSalvatore is three games away from his 500th pro game (492 AHL, 5 NHL).

Working Overtime - The Aeros have played in 15 games that have gone beyond regulation this season, including a 5-4 shootout win at Peoria Saturday. Only Bridgeport (19) has played more. Of the 15 games, 11 have ended in the overtime session (most in the AHL). The Aeros are 5-6 in overtime games and 3-1 in shootouts.

January - The Aeros closed out the month of January with a 5-4 SO win at Peoria. Houston played nine of 13 games last month on the road posting a 4-4-1-0 mark away from Toyota Center and 6-4-3-0 overall.
