AEROS FINISH SEASON SERIES WITH WOLVES FRIDAY

The Aeros host the Chicago Wolves tonight for a 7:05 p.m. tilt from Toyota Center. Houston is coming off their final 3-in-3 this season defeating Lake Erie 3-2 in OT Friday from Toyota Center before falling 4-1 and 5-4 in a shootout at Peoria over the weekend. The Wolves also enter tonight's affair coming off a 3-in-3 last weekend. Chicago shutout Rockford Saturday sandwiched between a pair of losses to the Texas Stars. The Aeros and Wolves close out the season series with a 7:35 p.m. puck drop from Toyota Center Friday night.

AEROS NOTES

Final Countdown - The Aeros enter tonight's game with just seven games left on the 2009-10 season. The club will host Chicago Friday, Rockford Tuesday Apr. 6 and Texas Saturday Apr. 10 for their remaining home games. The Aeros will not travel outside the state of Texas for the remainder of the season with a visit to Cedar Park Center Saturday and two trips to San Antonio the final week of the season.

Squadron Leaders - With three points (2g, 1a) scored last week, RW Jon DiSalvatore tied D Maxim Noreau for the team lead with 50 points. DiSalvatore leads the club in goals scored with 21 while Noreau it tops on the team with 32 assists. LW Matt Kassian still leads Aeros skaters with 142 PIM.

Wolf Woes - The Aeros have had their troubles with the West Division leading Wolves this season. Chicago has outscored the Aeros 24-6 in six games played this season scoring five or more in three games. Houston tallied their first point against Chicago in their last meeting with a 2-1 shootout loss at Allstate Arena Mar. 13. The Wolves is the only team Houston has played this season to hold them out of the win column (0-5-0-1).

Penalty Kill - The Aeros penalty kill currently ranks fourth in the league at 85.9% holding opponents to just 41 power play goals in 291 chances this season. Houston's PK hasn't ranked lower than fifth this season.

March Madness - Seven of the Aeros' 11 games this month have been one-goal games, six of which have been decided either in overtime or by shootout. The Aeros enter tonight's game with a 2-4-1-4 mark this month.

Milestones - C Nathan Smith is six games away from his 500th pro game. Noreau's next game played will be the 200th of his pro career. RW J-M Daoust's next assist will be the 150th helper of his pro career.
