AEROS NOTES
State Farm Lone Star Faceoff - The Aeros enter tonight's game with just three games left on the 2009-10 season, all State Farm Lone Star Faceoff games. The club hosts Texas Saturday for the home finale and then it's back to the Alamo City for the season finale against the Rampage. Tonight's game at San Antonio will be the sixth and final televised State Farm Lone Star Faceoff game on FS Houston this season. The Texas Stars have already clinched the inaugural State Farm Lone Star Faceoff.
Career Firsts - G Darcy Kuemper and D Marco Scandella each singed ATO contracts with the Aeros last week and each earned career firsts. Kuemper earned his first career win in his first AHL start Friday against Chicago followed by career victory number two the following night at Texas. Scandella recorded his first AHL point with an assist in Saturday's win over the Stars.
Squadron Leaders - RW J-M Daoust scored Houston's only goal Tuesday to tie RW Jon DiSalvatore and D Maxim Noreau for the club lead in points with 51. The marker also tied DiSalvatore for the team lead in goals scored at 21. Noreau still leads Aeros skaters with 33 assists while LW Matt Kassian's 144 PIM leads the Aeros.
Slam Dunc - RW Duncan Milroy leads Aeros skaters with 21 points (7g, 14a) and is a plus-9 in 30 games played since February 23. Milroy was credited with the lone helper on Daoust's goal Tuesday.
When Leading - The Aeros are 20-1-1-1 when leading after two periods this season including an 8-1-1-1 mark on the road.
Score Four - The Aeros have not lost in regulation when scoring at least four goals (19-0-1-1) including a 7-0-1-1 record on the road.
Power Play Roadies - The Aeros have the league's third best road power play unit converting on 29 of 147 chances (19.7%).
The Aeros close out the home slate of the 2009-10 season with a State Farm Lone Star Faceoff match-up with the Texas Stars Saturday. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. at Toyota Center and be sure to stick around for the annual "Jerseys Off Their Backs" following the game.
