HOUSTON - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has re-signed goaltender Josh Harding to a 2010-11 contract.
Harding, 26 (6/18/84), went 9-12-0 with a 3.05 GAA (goals against average), a .905 SV% and one shutout in 25 matches with Minnesota in 2009-10. His 25 games played and nine wins are the second highest totals in his career. He appeared in 29 games and recorded 11 wins in 2007-08. The 6-foot-1, 199-pound native of Regina, Saskatchewan, has appeared in 83 games making 65 starts for Minnesota in parts of five NHL seasons, going 28-39-4 with a 2.66 GAA, a .915 SV% and four shutouts. Harding was selected by the Wild in the second round (No. 38 overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
