HOUSTON AEROS TEAM UP WITH PINK RIBBONS PROJECT
The American Hockey League’s (AHL) Houston Aeros will host the Pink Ribbons Project Breast Cancer awareness game on Friday, October 22, at 7:35pm at Toyota Center when the Aeros face off against the Peoria Rivermen.
A portion of every ticket sold through the dedicated phone number (713-361-7916) will benefit the Pink Ribbons Project.
A silent auction will also be part of the game activities Friday with items such as three Aeros team autographed helmets, five autographed team worn patches, and three autographed game-worn pink ties by Head Coach Mike Yeo, Assistant Coach Darryl Sydor and Assistant Coach Brian Wiseman. The silent auction will take place behind section 108 and continue throughout the game until the bidding closes with five minutes remaining in the third period.
Also available at the game will be Houston Aeros/Pink Ribbons Project wristbands and the opportunity to participate in a human pink ribbon on the ice with a $5 donation.
All fans are encouraged to wear pink to Friday’s game against the Rivermen.
