HOUSTON --- The Houston Aeros, affiliate of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild, today announced that Aeros General Manager Jim Mill has released goalie Michael Ouzas (OOZ-us) from his Professional Tryout (PTO) contract with the American Hockey League club.
A 25-year-old Hamilton, Ontario native, Ouzas stopped 13 of 15 shots in 30:58 of relief duty in one game with the Aeros on Nov. 20.
The Aeros travel to Cedar Park to face the Texas Stars this Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. and return home for a pair of games Friday (vs. San Antonio) and Saturday (Milwaukee), both at 7:35 p.m.
