OVERVIEW
The Houston Aeros (11-3-2-4, 28 pts.) continue a five-game road trip on Wednesday night in Cleveland against the Lake Erie Monsters (9-9-1-1, 20 pts.). Houston, which improved to 7-1-0-1 on the road and 11-3-2-4 overall with a 4-2 win at Texas on Saturday, has recorded a standings point in six straight games (3-0-2-1). The Aeros sit three points out of first place in both the West Division and Western Conference behind Oklahoma City. Lake Erie is coming off a 5-4 win at Hershey on Saturday and is unbeaten in six games (5-0-0-1), including three straight wins. The Monsters, who went winless (0-5-1-0) in their first six games, have at least a point in 10 of their last 14. They trail second-place Rochester by three points in the North Division.
