OVERVIEW
The Houston Aeros (17-6-2-7, 43 pts.) travel to face the San Antonio Rampage (14-14-2-0, 30 pts.) on Friday at 7:05 p.m. Houston edged the Rampage 2-1 in overtime on Monday on Jeff Taffe’s goal 1:03 into extra time. The Aeros, who are 10-2-0-2 on the road this season and have the third-best standing-point total in the AHL, trail first place OKC in the West Division by two points. The Rampage has points in six straight games (4-0-2-0) and holds the No. 4 position in the West Division. They have dropped two straight OT decisions (Dec. 26 at HOU/2-1, Dec. 27 at TEX/3-2).
