"We are excited to add select Aeros hockey games to our extensive ESPN 97.5 FM play by play line up,” ESPN 97.5 FM program director Dave Tepper said. “With the AHL success the Aeros have experienced, sports fans can enjoy hearing coverage of their playoff push on the FM dial."
All broadcasts will begin with a 15-minute pre-game show prior to the scheduled puck drop.
“This is a unique opportunity for Houston sports fans in general to experience the excitement of Aeros hockey,” Burke said.
The partnership includes ESPN 97.5 FM Night with the Aeros on April 6 when the Aeros host Chicago at Toyota Center. Fans that arrive early will receive a souvenir Aeros puck courtesy of ESPN Radio 97.5 FM.
