HOUSTON, Texas – “Songs from the Jar”, the debut album from “Hold the Mayo”, featuring Aeros rookie forward Ben Thomson and equipment manager Rick Bronwell, is available now. Proceeds from the CD benefit Houston Aeros Charities. CD’s are available for $12.95 (including shipping and handling) by e-mailing Aeros Charities now, or for $10 at the Aeros Charities table at home games. Hold the Mayo promises you’ll laugh as much listening to it, as they did making it. And remember – proceeds benefit Aeros Charities! Hold the Mayo is also on Myspace!

The nine-track CD of original songs was recorded at Hightower High School. It includes “Mexico”, a song written by Thomson and college classmate Jon Hobson on a snowy night in Alberta in December 2003 (listen to 45-second clip of “Mexico”); “Smelly Love Song”, penned by Bronwell; “Bucee’s, It’s a Beaver”, Bronwell’s ode to the popular I-10 rest stop between Houston and San Antonio; and “Carbo Loaded”, a joint effort of Bronwell and Thomson about their favorite food group (watch video for "Carbo Loaded").
