AEROS FANS FILL PANTRIES, FILL LIVES WITH HOUSTON FOOD BANK

HOUSTON, Texas – Thanks to the generosity of our fans, the Houston Aeros were able to donate nearly 900 pounds of food to the Share Your Holidays! Food Drive. ABC 13, Houston Food Bank and Houston Aeros Charities partnered to collect food for those in need during the holiday season and exceeded last season’s donations of 719 pounds of food.

Chilly will be delivering the donated food to the Fonde Recreation Center, 110 Sabine Street, at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning which will air live on ABC 13.

It is not too late to donate, if anyone wishes to make more donations, tomorrow is the day to do it! Bring non-perishable food items or cash donations to one of the many collection sites located around Houston. Cash contributions may also be made at the checkout at all H-E-B food stores.

The Aeros take to the road playing in Mantiboa both Friday and Saturday nights, playing at 7:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on AM 1070 KNTH or online at Aeros.com. Just follow the link on the Aeros main page to listen live come game time!
