HOUSTON AEROS RELEASE RIGHT WING MILAN GAJIC

HOUSTON, Texas – Houston Aeros’ General Manager Tom Lynn today announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club has released right wing Milan Gajic from his Professional Try-Out (PTO) with the Aeros.

Gajic, 26 (6/1/81), tallied two assists in two games with the Aeros since joining the club on November 22. The Burnaby, British Columbia native was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round (#122 overall) of the 2001 NHL entry draft. This season with ECHL Victoria, Gajic has 22 points (8-14=22) and leads the ECHL in scoring through 14 games. He played six games for AHL Manitoba last season scoring five points (2-3=5).

The Aeros take to the road playing in Mantiboa both Friday and Saturday nights, playing at 7:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on AM 1070 KNTH or online at Aeros.com. Just follow the link on the Aeros main page to listen live come game time!

The Aeros return home on Saturday, December 22 to face the Springfield Falcons in the third and final date for Houston Aeros Charities’ Toy Drive. Bring some toys to benefit Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and the Houston Aeros Power-Play Room. December 22 is also the first Houston-Hockey Puck giveaway featuring the Sam Houston Coliseum which will be given to the first 3,000 fans into Toyota Center.
