AEROS NOTES:

DiSalva-tear - RW Jon DiSalvatore is on a tear of late having scored in six of his last seven games. DiSalvatore is also riding a team and season-high four-game goal streak.

Team Leaders - DiSalvatore shared the top spot on the club in goals scored for all of 8:49 when RW J-M Daoust tallied his team-high 11th at 4:05 of the third period in Monday's win. Daoust also leads the team with 23 points and is tied with DiSalvatore and D Maxim Noreau with 12 assists. LW Matt Kassian continues to pile up the PIM. His 73 PIM is 21 clear of D Clayton Stoner's 52.

All-Stars -
Noreau and G Anton Khudobin will represent the Aeros in the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic Jan. 19 in Portland, ME. Noreau will play for the Canadian AHL All-Stars leading AHL defensemen with nine goals scored. Khudobin will play for the PlanetUSA All-Stars taking a 1.98 GAA and four shutouts to Portland.

Special Teams - The Aeros' penalty kill took a hit last time out giving up power play goals on all three Syracuse man advantages Monday. It was the first time this season the Aeros had given up more than one PPG in a game and the first time since 12/26 of last season, vs. San Antonio, the team had allowed more than 2 PPG.

"D" Up - The Aeros are one of the best defensive teams in the AHL. Their 2.35 goals against per game is fifth best in the league and their 23.97 shots allowed per game is the fewest in the league.

Milestones - DiSalvatore recorded his 200th AHL assist Monday off D J.P. Testwuide's overtime game-winner. Testwuide's goal was his first AHL regular season tally, and with an assist earlier in the game, he recorded his first career multi-point game. Head coach Kevin Constantine won his 100th game behind the Aeros bench Monday. RW Danny Irmen is three points way from his 100th career AHL point.

Wheels Up - The Aeros begin a stretch of 11-of-15 games on the road tonight.
