The Houston Aeros (17-15-1-2) travel to San Antonio to battle the San Antonio Rampage (22-8-1-0) for the fifth of 10 meetings this season. Houston is coming off a 4-3 shootout win over the Texas Stars last night at home. The victory ended a four-game slide by the Aeros, who leaped ahead of both Chicago and Oklahoma City into fifth place in the West Division. Houston sits three points behind the fourth place Stars. San Antonio leads the West Division and Western Conference with 22 wins and 45 points. They have won seven of their last 10 and two-in-a-row. They last played on Dec. 19 in a 5-4 victory over Hamilton.

TRENDING --- The Aeros have allowed the first goal in four of the

Jon DiSalvatore scored a pair of power play goals, Robbie Earl and Max Noreau each notched two helpers and Cody Almond scored in the seventh round of the shootout to give the Houston Aeros a 4-3 win over the Texas Stars in front of 7,513 fans Sunday at Toyota Center. Matt Hackett turned aside 22 shots in the win, including five of seven in the extra-extra and notably the potential shootout-tying attempt by Stars leading scorer Travis Morin. Houston is now 5-1-0-0 against Texas this season and 3-0-0-0 at home.
