HOUSTON --- The Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League today announced that the team will face the Peoria Rivermen in the West Division Semifinals of the AHL’s Calder Cup Playoffs beginning Wednesday, April 13, at Toyota Center. Face off is 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for games ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the West Division Semifinals are on sale now.  Tickets are available for purchase by calling (866) GO-AEROS, the Toyota Center Box Office, AEROS.com and at select Randalls locations.

The Aeros are the No. 2 seed in the West Division and will face the Rivermen, who hold the No. 3 seed, in a best-of-seven series that will feature a 2-3-2 format.

This is the third time the teams have squared off in the opening round of the AHL Playoffs. Houston swept the Rivermen in four games in 2006 and won in seven games in 2009. Houston went 2-3-1-0 versus the Rivermen this season.
