OVERVIEW
The Houston Aeros (12-3-2-4, 30 pts.) continue a five-game road trip on Friday night in Rochester against the Americans (10-7-2-1, 23 pts.). Houston improved to 8-1-0-1 on the road and 12-3-2-4 overall with a 2-1 win at Lake Erie on Wednesday night. The Aeros have recorded a standings point in seven straight games (4-0-2-1) and sit one point out of first place in both the West Division and Western Conference behind Oklahoma City. Rochester has won two straight games and is five points off the North Division lead behind Toronto. They are winners in six of their last eight games and have won six of their last seven at home.
