WILD RECALLS HACKETT FROM AEROS

HOUSTON  --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled G Matt Hackett from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) under emergency conditions.

Hackett, 21 (3/7/90), is 2-0-0 with a 0.68 goals against average (GAA) and a .979 save percentage (SV%) in four games with the Wild this season, stopping 94 of 96 shots faced. The 6-foot-2, 179-pound native of London, Ont., is 17-13-4 with a 2.41 GAA, a .917 SV% and one shutout in 35 games with the Aeros this season. Hackett was Minnesota’s third-round pick (No. 77 overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Aeros return to action this Saturday at San Antonio against the Rampage at 7 p.m.
