HOUSTON Houston Aeros President and General Manger Dave Barr announced today that the Minnesota Wild (National Hockey League) has recalled left wing Hnat Domenichelli (NAT daw-meh-KEHL-ee). Domenichelli is expected to be in uniform tonight when the Wild host the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
Domenichelli, (2/17/96), has tallied 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points in 28 games with the Aeros this season after joining the team on October 11. He leads the team with two shorthanded goals and is tied for third with 10 goals.
The Edmonton, Alberta native split the 2001-02 season between the Wild and the Atlanta Thrashers (NHL) and scored nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 67 games. The seven-year pro has played in 266 career NHL games with Hartford, Calgary, Atlanta and Minnesota, totaling 52-61-113.
The Aeros start 2003 with a six-game winning streak and host the Rochester Americans on Friday and Sunday, January 3 and 5.
