HOUSTON - Houston Aeros President and General Manager Dave Barr announced today the Aeros have released goaltender Peter-Emmanuel Brady from his professional try-out contract.
Brady, 25, joined the Aeros on Thursday and served as back-up for goaltender Derek Gustafson in Thursday's 5-4 OT win over the San Antonio Rampage. This was Brady's third stint with Houston this season. He earlier saw action against the Rampage on March 11. In 33 minutes, he stopped 16 of 18 shots for no decision as Houston lost 7-4.
The Aeros travel to Grand Rapids for an important Western Conference match-up on Sunday. The Griffins lead Houston by two points for first in the conference, however Houston has played one less game. Sunday's game can be heard on AM 700 KSEV or www.aeros.com at 3:00 PM.
