HOUSTON - Houston Aeros President and General Manager Dave Barr announced today goaltender Peter-Emmanuel Brady has been released from his professional tryout contract.
Brady was signed on March 9 and served as Derek Gustafsons back-up for Sunday's game versus Chicago. On Tuesday, March 11, Brady made his American Hockey League debut, replacing Gustafson midway through the game. Brady stopped 16 of 18 shots in 33 minutes of work. Brady will rejoin the Austin Ice Bats (Central Hockey League) as they wrap up their season and prepare for the playoffs.
Houston hosts Grand Rapids tonight in a battle for first in the Western Conference at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, the Milwaukee Admirals visit Compaq Center for a 7:30 PM game.
