HOUSTON - The West Division Champion Houston Aeros announced today the first two dates of their Western Conference Quarterfinals series. Game One will be on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 PM. Game Two will be on Friday, April 18 at 7:30 PM. Both games will be at Compaq Center.



The Aeros will not know who they will face in the quarterfinals round until the conclusion of the Qualifying Round. The round begins Thursday and will end no later than Sunday. Houston will play the highest remaining seed from the Qualifying Round. The three possibilities are: Milwaukee Admirals, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins or Utah Grizzlies.



The remainder of the best-of-five Western Conference Quarterfinals round will be announced next Monday, upon the conclusion of the Qualifying Round. The games will move to the opponent’s arena for Game Three and Game Four, if necessary. Game Five, if necessary, will be at Compaq Center.
