HOUSTON - The Houston Aeros must wait another day to find out who their Western Conference Quarterfinal opponent will be.
The Aeros now have only two possible choices for an opponent: Milwaukee or Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The Wilkes/Barre-Scanton Penguins defeated the Utah Grizzlies two games to none in their Qualifying Round match-up on Saturday. Milwaukee hosted the Rochester Americans on Saturday with a chance to win the best of three Qualifying Round. However, the Americans prevailed to force a deciding Game Three on Sunday.
If Milwaukee wins on Sunday, the Aeros will host the Admirals on Wednesday and Friday. If Rochester wins, the Aeros will host Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday and Friday. The remainder of the best of five round will be announced on Monday. |
