Mikko Koivu and Junior Lessard, who played for Houston in 2004-05, became the fourth and fifth former Aeros to score their first NHL goals this season when they found the net Sunday and Monday, respectively.
Koivu scored in his second game with Minnesota after missing five weeks with a knee injury. He scored the Wild's second goal in a 4-3 shootout win over Anaheim Sunday, and he added a tally in the shootout for good measure. Koivu was assisted by Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Kyle Wanvig, who were both Koivu's teammates in 2004-05.
Lessard, meanwhile, scored Monday for the Dallas Stars. He tipped in a saucer pass from Mike Modano, the leading scorer in Stars history.
Derek Boogaard, Matt Foy and Jeff Hoggan have also notched their first NHL goals this season.
