Jamie SpencerBiography: Jamie Spencer, 35, is currently Vice President of Customer Sales & Service for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL), the Aeros NHL affiliate. In this role with the Aeros, Spencers primary responsibility is to provide executive leadership and direction to the entire organization, with particular focus on the Ticket Sales and Service, Corporate Sales and Service, Retail Sales, Marketing Game Operations, Communications & Broadcasting, Charitable Giving and Finance/Administrative. He is in his second season as Vice President, Customer Sales & Service for the Minnesota Wild. He joined the organization in June of 1997 and is the longest tenured employee. Spencers responsibilities include overseeing all Minnesota Wild Ticket Sales and Service. The Wild recently completed its ninth NHL season and has sold out every home game in franchise history, posting 365 consecutive sellouts (328 regular season, 24 preseason and 13 playoff), the longest current streak in the NHL. The total attendance for the Wilds first eight seasons stands at 6,756,210. Minnesota ended the 2008-09 season with 16,500 season ticket holders and a waiting list of more than 7,500 people. Prior to joining the Wild and Aeros, Spencer enjoyed a collegiate hockey career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he served as captain his senior year. He then joined the professional ranks playing in the East Coast and American Hockey Leagues, within the Anaheim Mighty Ducks minor league system. He also represented the United States as a member of Team USA at the 1995 World Championship in Stockholm, Sweden. Spencer is a member of the NHL Ticket Advisory Board. He has a passion for sports and spends a lot of his spare time at the rink, teaching hockey to children of all ages. The University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate is a native of Indianapolis, Ind.
